How ORA handles your information

What we collect

Only what you choose to send us:

• The register-interest form: your name, the group you are registering as, your email and/or WhatsApp number, your consent record, and any optional details you add (craft or specialty, location, portfolio link, capacity, notes).
• Anything you include if you email us directly.

This site has no accounts, no advertising trackers and no analytics profiles. We do not collect payment details.

Why we collect it

One purpose only: to contact you about ORA as the relevant onboarding cohort opens, starting with designers and garment makers. Your details are never sold, never shown publicly, and never used for unrelated marketing.

Where it is kept

Registrations are stored securely on Cloudflare's infrastructure, with access limited to the ORA founding team. Your consent tick is stored with your registration as your record of permission.

Your rights

You may ask at any time to see the details we hold about you, to have them corrected, or to have them deleted. Email info@ubuntutown.co.za and we will act on it. If you are unhappy with how your information is handled, you may complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.

How long we keep it

Until you ask us to delete it, or until the register-interest programme ends. Deletion requests are honoured promptly.
